DESCRIPTION:In the kaleidoscopic world of music\, 54 Ultra emerges as a bea
con of sonic\nfusion\, weaving synthy indie rock with a Latin soul heartbe
at. Based out of New\nJersey\, 54 Ultra is the musical project of songwrit
er and producer JohnAnthony\n(Johnny) Rodriguez. Offering music that is bo
	th honest and melodic\, with a\ncharismatic stage presence to match\, 54 U
ltra is carving out a space uniquely\nhis own\, defined by a garage pop an
d soul sound.\n\nThrough a combination of interning in a New Jersey studio
and self-teaching\,\nJohnny built a solid foundation in music production
before stepping into the\nspotlight with his own artist project. In early
2025\, Johnny headed to Miami to\nwork with Kali Uchis on her latest album
	\, Sincerely\, where he produced the track\n“All I Can Say.”\n\nIn 2024\,
he shared his debut single\, “Where Are You\,” which quickly gained\ntract
ion online\, introducing listeners to a sound that feels both timeless and
\nfresh. A year later\, he released his debut EP First Works\, which Billb
oard named\none of the Best Projects of the Year (So Far). The six-track c
ollection features\nfan favorites such as “Upside Down” and “No Tengo Valo
r” and was followed by\nfour sold-out shows in New York and Los Angeles.\n
	\nTowards the end of 2025\, 54 Ultra released “I Won’t Go\,” a Spanglish s
ynth\nballad that further underscored his ability to pair emotional intima
cy with a\nvibrant\, genre-blurring sound. Shortly afterward\, he followed
with “Find Your\nLove\,” which premiered on KCRW’s Live From HQ and Morni
ng Becomes Eclectic. The\nsingle was a fan favorite throughout his sold-ou
t fall tour (North America\,\nEU/UK) and was produced by Homer Steinweiss
and Leon Michels (El Michels Affair\,\nClairo). The release arrived as 54
Ultra prepares for an expanded North American\ntour beginning in early 202
6\, a 21-date run that brings him to several markets\nfor the first time\,
and culminates in his Coachella debut just over a year after\nsharing his
	 first single.
