. When a battle with cancer took Raul off the road in 2025, his bandmates
honored his influence with a sold-out show at the Ryman Auditorium, fillin

bert Reynolds, Eddie Perez, and Jerry Dale McFadden, the tour combines a u

Steel City. The former is a quieter, more contemplative affair than Famil
y Ties, containing some of the most thrilling songs of Godwin’s career. Wr
itten principally on the road, Lonely Mountain Town is at its heart a coll
ection of on-the-move snapshots and quiet moments in life set to tune. The
latter, Live From The Steel City, is a raucous live record that perfectly
encapsulates the energy Charles Wesley Godwin brings to his performances,
which last year included a sold out Red Rocks headline debut and a string
of dates opening Eric Church’s Free The Machine Tour. Godwin has be
en on a steady upward climb following his beloved debut album, 2019’s Sene
ca. Alongside his longtime band, the Allegheny High, the musician has deve
loped a reputation as a thrilling and beautifully raucous live performer.

en asked by a parent to entertain family and friends, maybe in the living
room, maybe sing a little, play an instrument. No big deal and a good way
to get used to performing for others. But when Jason Bonham was a small ch
ild and got called in to entertain, the family friends he played his drums
for could be anyone from Jimmy Page to some of the guys from the group Ba
d Company. That's what happens when your father is drummer John Bonham, on
e of the original members of the legendary rock band Led Zeppelin. A
t the age of only five, Jason could play the drums, at least a scaled-down
set of them, with skill. When he was 17 he was a member of the band Air R
ace. The group signed a record contract with Atlantic Records, recorded on
e album, and opened for big names like Queen, Meat Loaf, Ted Nugent, and A
C/DC. John Bonham died in 1980, but Jason, who has marked a few places in
music history himself, has stepped in from time to time to help keep his f
ather's memory alive. In 1988, Jason took his father's spot in the t
elevised, first-ever Led Zeppelin reunion at the Atlantic Records 40th Ann
iversary concert, which included Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul J
ones. Later than year. he went on to tour with Page and recorded the album
Outrider with him. By 1989, he completed the album The Disregard of
Timekeeping, in his new band called "Bonham". One of the tracks from this
first effort, "Wait for You," earned him a gold record. By 1992, with par
tners like Canadian vocalist Daniel MacMaster, guitarist Ian Hatton, and b
assist and keyboardist John Smithson, Bonham finished another album: Mad H
atter. Jason teamed up with greats like Paul Rodgers, Slash, David G
ilmour, Jeff Beck and others in 1993 to work on a Tribute to Muddy Waters
album. The record's success brought a nomination for a Grammy Award. A yea
r later, Jason, along with Rodgers and Slash, appeared at the memorable Wo
odstock II. That same year, he recorded a new album, Peace 4 Me, in his gr
oup now known as Motherland with Marti Frederksen on vocals. In May
1990, Jason married Jan Charteris, in Stone, Kidderminster in a wedding re
ception that included a jam with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul J
ones. Jason represented his father when Led Zeppelin was inducted in
to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in January 1995, with his sister Zoe by
his side. He soon put together another solo project which culminated in "I
n the Name of My Father - The Zepset" cd, which featured the songs of Led
Zeppelin. Proceeds from the album went to charity. The album followed up w
ith When You See the Sun. The Healing Sixes soon caught his attentio
n and decided to tour and record them the Indiana-based band, from 1999--2
003. In 2001, Jason appeared in the film Rock Star which starred Mark Wahl
berg. The band in the movie, Steel Dragon recorded the songs featured in t
he movie and the soundtrack. Following an album with Debbie Bonham,
the younger sister of John Bonham, Jason was invited to drum for hard rock
group UFO. In 2006, he also recorded with Joe Bonamassa. Jason star
red with Ted Nugent, Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard), Sebastian Bach (Skid Row)
and Scott Ian (Anthrax) on the VH1 reality tv show, "SuperGroup", in May 2
006. The musicians formed a band called Damnocracy for the show, during wh
ich they lived in a mansion in Las Vegas for twelve days and created music
. Most recently, Jason has performed and recorded with Foreigner. On
December 10th, 2007, Jason played drums in the most anticipated concert o
f all time - the Led Zeppelin reunion at London's O2 arena with surviving

The band’s 20-city tour will visit independent venues exclusively, marking

There is no reason for GHOSTWOMAN’s fourth
album to exist. Welcome to the Civilized World is born to a broken world;
a corrupt inheritance – Evan Uschenko and Ille van Dessel are under no ill
usions about its futility – and yet, this thing is alive. It’s an allergic
reaction to the times we are living in: a welt that screams to be itched,
the purging of a modern sickness they could no longer stomach. Beyond rat
ionality, this record came from a place of gut feeling and a lack of any o

Raised in Southern California by parents who brought the
m to DIY punk shows and spun classic punk records in the house, Hollywood,
CA-based punk up-and-comers, The Mainliners, are the real thing. And they
embrace their roots, taking inspiration from such legendary SoCal bands a
s TSOL, Descendants, and DI, and drawing comparisons to others in the vang
uard, from The Circle Jerks to The Adolescents.
Formed in the crucib le of pent-up creative energy that was a quarantine-era art/punk house in Los Angeles, the band hit the ground running - writing songs, playing show s, and switching instruments for a year and a half before the official fou r man lineup of Cash Mathieu on vocals, Colin Martin on guitar, Adrian Mor ris on bass, and Jackson Fox on drums was cemented.
Since then , the band has been hard at work developing their musical and visual langu age across several singles, an EP, an album, and a live album, all release d since 2023. They’ve been tearing up stages across the country and gettin g their name out there playing with bands such as Enjoy, Gvllow, Civic and Bad Nerves. They also played to a huge crowd as the only punk band on the 2024 edition of Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in their hom etown of Los Angeles, proving that The Mainliners’ sound, look, and messag e connects, not just with punks, but with fans of good music.

ed his Glow: 10 Year Anniversary Tour, with 12 shows in cities including B

Fifteen years after starting his career wri ting songs and touring in his Honda Accord on the weekends, Ben Rector fou nd himself at home and at the piano in March 2020. The alchemy of life’s b ig questions, more downtime than he’d had in a decade, and those now all-t oo-familiar “unprecedented times” resulted in his career album: The Joy of Music. The project includes a breathtaking short film (featuring seven so ngs brought to life with stunning cinematography), inviting listeners and viewers to visit a dream world that communicates Rector’s creative process and his reckoning with his job as an artist. He is led through the film’s chapters by his new friend Joy, a muppet monster he created with Jim Hens on’s Creature Shop. , Thomas Lauderdale was working in local politics, attending every politic
al fundraiser under the sun... but was dismayed to find the music at these
events underwhelming and lackluster. Drawing inspiration from music from
all over the world–crossing genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned po
p–and hoping to appeal to conservatives and liberals alike, he founded the
“little orchestra” Pink Martini in 1994 to provide more beautiful and inc
lusive musical soundtracks for political fundraisers for causes such as ci
vil rights, affordable housing, the environment, libraries, public broadca
sting, education and parks. One year later, Lauderdale called China
Forbes, a Harvard classmate who was living in New York City, and asked her
to join Pink Martini as the lead singer, and collaborator. Their first so
ng “Sympathique (Je ne veux pastravailler)” became an overnight sensation
in France, was nominated for “Song of the Year” at France’s Victoires de l
a Musique Awards, and is still the band’s number one song. Says Lauderdale

amanian Pianist-Composer Danilo Perez has been lauded as one of the most c

ince 1993 Pérez has released twelve albums which have earned him critical

Doris Duke Artist Award in 2021, United States Fellowship 2018, and the 2
009 Smithsonian Legacy Award. For nearly two decades, Pérez has been part
of the Wayne Shorter Quartet, alongside bassist John Patitucci and drummer
Brian Blade. This latest iteration from Shorter has been known as a uniqu
e and predominant force in improvisational music both at their historic li
ve performances and on several recordings. In 2018 Blue Note records relea
sed the highly anticipated EMANON from the Wayne Shorter Quartet which won
a Grammy in the category of Best Jazz Instrumental album in 2019. Gyedu Blay Ambolley is a musical luminary h
ailing from Ghana, West Africa, with a staggering 29 albums under his belt
. Known affectionately as the “Simigwa Do Man,” Ambolley’s musical journey
began in the vibrant port city of Sekondi-Takoradi, in the Western Region
of Ghana. His early fascination with music blossomed into a lifelong pass
ion. From mastering his father’s flute at the tender age of eight, to honi
ng his guitar skills under the mentorship of “Uncle Bonku”, Sammy Lartey a
nd Ebo Taylor, Ambolley’s musical odyssey has been nothing short of extrao
rdinary. This all led to Ambolley becoming a musical life force and explod
ing on the scene in 1973 with a jazzy highlife sound called ‘SIMIGWA-DO’.
His name has become synonymous with Simigwa music and dance. Coming
of age amidst the zenith of Ghana’s highlife era, Ambolley emerged as a pi
votal figure in its evolution, lending his talents to esteemed bands such
as Houghas Extraordinaires, Meridians Of Tema and Ghana Broadcasting Band.
It was during this time that he caught the attention of his compatriot an
d friend, Ebo Taylor, who recruited Ambolley to be a member of the Uhuru D
ance Band. This all lead to a transformative journey to Nigeria in 1973, w
here they shared the stage with the legendary Fela Kuti at his renowned Sh
rine venue. 1975 Debut Album Simigwa: Ambolley not only embraces his musical
roots but also pioneers the fusion of Ghanaian highlife with soul and fun
k influences from across the Atlantic. With Simigwa, Ambolley seized the o
pportunity to showcase his own musical prowess and embark on a journey of
experimentation. A main inspiration for this album was the work of the mig
hty Mr. James Brown, something that is evident from the rhythm section, ho

Rising Chicago indie-punk band Scarlet Demore was formed
in 2017 by frontwoman Cat Ayala, quickly resonating with a new generation
of punk listeners hungry for something raw, unfiltered and emotionally ch
arged. The band has become a staple favorite in Chicago’s punk circuits an
d have built their reputation the old-fashioned way through loud shows, wo
rd-of-mouth devotion and support from their community. That grassroots mom
entum has since snowballed into a cult following, with fans drawn to Ayala
’s biting lyricism and the band’s ability to swing between explosive catha
rsis and haunting intimacy without losing their edge. Operating completely
independently, their 2022 EP Please Stop Loving Me introduced a band unaf
raid to unravel while 2023’s Baby Teeth sharpened that vision into somethi
ng even more volatile and self-assured. Across both releases, Scarlet Demo
re leans into themes of confronting misogyny, creating safe spaces outside
the stage and calling for femme-only mosh pits. Beyond the studio, the ba
nd’s live presence has become a defining force. From hometown venues to a
sold-out West Coast tour with Beach Bunny and playing major stages like Lo
llapalooza and Harley-Davidson Homecoming, Scarlet Demore have become a ca
n’t-miss act where their raw power truly shines. Sharing bills and tours w
ith acts like Vial, Beach Bunny, and Worry Club, they’ve proven their abil
ity to exist across scenes. As they continue to evolve, Scarlet Demore sta
nds at the forefront of Chicago’s new punk vanguard.
Latter is a
Chicago-based noise rock project formed by chance in 2022 by Philadelphia
-born sound artist Meredith Haines and drummer Jonathan Alvarado (Beach Bu
nny). After a decade in the Philadelphia DIY scene, Haines had stepped awa
y from music entirely—burned out and building a new life as a sound artist
and college advisor. A spontaneous connection with Alvarado sparked weekl
y jam sessions that quickly evolved into a raw and unique collaboration. D
rawing from Haines’ background in both sound art and modern dance, the ban
d’s performances blur the lines between noise rock, performance art, and s
